Russia Attacks DTEK Energy TPPs, Casualties Reported

The enemy does not cease terrorising civilian infrastructure and has once again shelled Ukraine's energy facilities.

Last night, on 20 June, one DTEK Energy thermal power plant was attacked.

According to preliminary information, three people were injured. We are promptly providing all necessary assistance.

The plant's equipment was seriously damaged. After the attack ended, the power engineers started to eliminate the consequences and restore the equipment.

This is the seventh large-scale attack on the company's power plants in the last three months.

In the face of massive enemy shelling, DTEK Energy employees continue to do everything possible to maintain the reliable operation of the Ukrainian energy system. The company coordinates its actions with NPC Ukrenergo and the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, DTEK Energy's thermal power plants have been shelled more than 180 times. During this period, 53 employees were wounded and 3 power engineers were killed in the shelling.
