Ladyzhynska TPP specialists quickly brought Unit 1 back online, and already at night the TPP was generating electricity for the Ukrainian power grid.
Currently, Unit 1 is carrying a load of 195 MW.
On 10 May 2021, at 7:17 pm, DTEK Ladyzhynska TPP Unit 1, the only unit operating at the TPP at that time, was shut down.
The generating unit was tripped by the protection (as a result of two induced draught fans stopping after the regenerative air preheater failed). We are looking into the reasons of the incident.
The shutdown of DTEK Ladyzhynska TPP Unit 1 did not cause a shutdown of the BoP systems. There was no interruption of power supply to our consumers. There was no excessive impact on the environment.
Power plant employees have started commissioning tests on Unit No.1.
