DTEK has completely restored operation of Zaporizka TPP after its Unit No.3 was tripped by the turbine valve protection.
Unit No.2 is online and is ramping up its output.
At 11:01 am, DTEK Zaporizka TPP Unit 3, TPP's only unit online at that time, shut down. The unit was tripped by the turbine valve protection. We are looking into the reasons of the incident.
DTEK Zaporizka TPP Unit No.3 shut-down did not de-energise the balance-of-plant equipment. There was no interruption of power supply to our consumers.
Power plant specialists have started preparations to bring DTEK Zaporizka TPP Unit No.4 online.
In addition, DTEK is starting DTEK Kryvyorizka TPP Unit No.1 and DTEK Prydniprovska TPP No.10, which were kept on standby, to meet the evening peak power demand.
Currently, all DTEK TPPs, except for Burshtynska TPP, have 1-2 units online.
