Today, Shchastya residents have started receiving heat in their apartments and houses. The heating season was opened in accordance with a resolution issued by the head of Shchastya city military and civil administration.
This year, preparations for a heating season and repairs of the power plant heating pipe network started already in the summer.
“We performed the maintenance of the shut-off valves of manifold No. 1, replaced defective sections of the pipelines, and inspected heat meters. To prevent and remove pipe breaks, we pressure-tested manifolds Nos. 1 and 2. DTEK is a reliable partner of the local community, and Shchastya residents will have light and heat during a winter season,” commented Borys Safonov, director of DTEK Luganska TPP.
We repaired two power units, and stocked Luganska TPP warehouse with 230 tons of coal to ensure the stability of operations during an autumn and winter season. It means that we will have heat and light in the winter.
