The company's power engineers and repairmen continue to make every effort to eliminate the consequences of russian attacks and restore the damaged facilities of thermal power plants as soon as possible.

To this end, DTEK Energy has invested over UAH 1.4 bln of its own funds year-to-date. In total, this year the company plans to invest about UAH 3.9 bln in repairs and restoration of its TPPs, which is comparable to last year's investments.

‘We are well aware of how much depends on power engineers today. And they feel this responsibility to every Ukrainian better than anyone else. Especially in the run-up to the upcoming heating season, which will be another unprecedented challenge for everyone. That is why we are doing our best to restore everything possible as soon as possible. And after such a scale of destruction, the restoration will continue gradually: before the start of the heating season, throughout the winter and in 2025,’ said DTEK Energy CEO Ildar Salieiev.

For reference

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, DTEK Energy's TPPs have been attacked by the enemy more than 180 times. Over the past three months alone, the enemy has carried out seven massive attacks on the company's TPPs. The shelling destroyed or damaged about 90% of DTEK's thermal generation capacity. According to preliminary estimates, about UAH 14-16 bln (USD 350-400 mln) is needed to restore the facilities damaged by the attacks. This includes damage to equipment and the cost of repairs.
