DTEK-operated network of STRUM high-speed electric vehicle charging stations will start charging the electric fleet of UBERDRIVE — the largest partner of UBER in Ukraine. The parties have reached agreement on cooperation.

EV drivers partnering with UBERDRIVE will receive 25% discount on charging their vehicles at all STRUM stations. As a result, they will pay 6 UAH per 1 kWh of high-speed charging at 50 kW ports. 22 kW AC charging will cost 4 UAH for 1 kWh.

By September 2018, the partnership fleet of UBERDRIVE comprises about 300 electric vehicles that work for UBER.

“Electric vehicles represent an innovative and environment-friendly means of transportation. I am confident that our interaction with UBERDRIVE will help to increase the number of electric vehicles providing taxi services to the citizens of Kyiv and other cities,” ― commented Ihor Kovaliov, Head of STRUM.

“The number of EV users interested in working for UBERDRIVE has been rapidly growing. Fast charging is one of the considerable advantages that will allow attracting new electric vehicles to our program, which, I believe, will be greatly appreciated by the Ukrainians,” ― said UBERDRIVE’s general manager Serhiy Shevchenko.
