Tetiana Kaluhina, Director of Corum Druzhkivka Machine-Building Plant, a part of DTEK Energy, has been recognised as one of the leaders in the project "UP 100. Power of Women" project initiated by Ukrainska Pravda. This project recognises a hundred Ukrainian women who, through their daily work, self-sacrifice and concern for the future, make a significant contribution to the development and defence of Ukraine.
According to the project's website, Tetiana Kaluhina became one of the first crisis managers in Ukraine who managed to move a large plant to the rear and continue working for victory. Under her leadership, the machine-building plant, which was located in frontline Druzhkivka, was relocated to Dnipro. The plant continues to operate in a stable manner and manufacture machinery and equipment to ensure coal production at mines and, accordingly, the reliable operation of TPPs and the Ukrainian energy system as a whole.
"I am deeply grateful for this recognition, but my heart knows that it is not only my achievement. This is the result of the relentless work of my company's team. We continue to work to strengthen the country's economy and contribute to its energy independence. Building a strong, free and prosperous Ukraine is our shared responsibility and our way to victory. I am thankful to everyone who fights and works every day for a better future for us and our future generations," said Tetiana Kaluhina, Director of Corum Druzhkivka Machine-Building Plant.
In 2023, DTEK Energy's machine builders manufactured 15 coal shearers, produced and repaired 750 units of mining equipment, and supplied 1.1 million spare parts to coal mines.
