"Clean City": 276 employees of DTEK Luhansk TPP helped Happiness to become purer and more beautiful
On April 21, 2018, employees of DTEK Luhansk TPP came out to clean up their hometown of Happiness. Sixth consecutive spring energy cleanse the city from domestic garbage, sand, put order on roadside roads, whitewash curbs and poles of electric lighting. The highlight of the action was the planting of 57 rose bushes in the sanatorium "Lugansky". "Clean City" has already become a good tradition, thanks to which the city becomes more beautiful and clean.

With good mood, brooms, rakes and shovels, 276 employees of DTEK Lugansk TPP came to the subbotnik. Having listened to the instruction on labor protection, armed with means of individual protection, the energy enthusiastically undertook to restore order in the fixed areas of the city. As a result, the protesters removed more than 37 tons of garbage.
The sanatorium-preventorium "Lugansky" was not left without attention. Restored after the attacks, the health center was decorated with 57 rose bushes. In plans for the fall - gardening sanatorium-preventorium coniferous trees.
Participating in the action, despite the early time, came and the children of employees. The children assiduously helped their parents, for which they were awarded with souvenirs from DTEK - plaids for a picnic.
"Children all week preparing for subbotnik, they decided what they would do and experience, so that there would be no rain. Fortunately, the weather was sunny and warm, and everything that was planned was done. Thanks to the Company for the gifts, the guys are delighted! ", - shared the leading specialist of the labor protection department Vitaliy Kapran.
"Every year on the third Saturday of April, Ukraine marks the Day of the Environment. On this day the Company traditionally conducts a volunteer action "Clean City". Our workers cleared the streets of the city, cleaned up the territory of the station. I am grateful to every employee who took part in the action and made his contribution to the improvement of our city, "said Stanislav Valantir, Director of DTEK Lugansk TPP.
Similar volunteer actions took place in 22 settlements of Ukraine, where DTEK's enterprises operate. In total, more than 3,600 people took part in them.
