On January 23, at 5:30 a.m. a PAZ passenger bus of the Dobropillia bus depot was involved in an accident while carrying workers of Almazna mine. Within the boundaries of Dobropillia town, a KRAZ lorry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) drove into the oncoming traffic lane and collided with the PAZ bus. There were about 30 passengers in the bus, three of them were hospitalised in the Town Hospital of Dobropillia. The sustained injuries are bruises and closed fractures.
01/23/2018 at 05:30 a.m. a PAZ passenger bus of the Dobropillia bus depot carried workers of Almazna mine from Bilytske town to the enterprise. Within the boundaries of Dobropillia town, a KRAZ lorry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) drove into the oncoming traffic lane and collided with the PAZ bus. When the accident happened, it was snowing heavily, so the road was covered in thick snow. There were about 30 passengers in the bus, three of them were hospitalised in the Town Hospital of Dobropillia. The sustained injuries are a lumbar spine contusion, contusions of both tibias, a closed fracture of the fifth metacarpal bone of right hand, a closed fracture of the lower third and the middle third of the left tibia.
The National Police and an ambulance timely arrived at the accident scene. The causes of the accident are being investigated.
