vano-Frankivsk regional clinical infectious diseases hospital to receive 50 new orthopedic mattresses from DTEK

Ivano-Frankivsk regional clinical infectious diseases hospital received 50 new orthopedic mattresses from DTEK and Rinat Akhmetov Foundation This is not the first instance of providing aid to this facility, because in 2020 the hospital received a modern device for artificial lung ventilation to save patients suffering from COVID-19.

“DTEK is a socially responsible company. Together with the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation, we provide assistance to hospitals and medical staff who are at the forefront of the fight against coronavirus. Last year, these were artificial lung ventilation devices, tests for diagnosis and protection for doctors. Today we are responding to the needs of Ivano-Frankivsk regional clinical infectious diseases hospital for mattresses. On this day, we donated some 50 orthopedic mattresses to the hospital. We shall continue to support the hospitals throughout the region where DTEK Burshtynska TPP operates, as well as to support physicians who continue to fight for the life of every Ukrainian citizen. I would like to thank the doctors for their dedicated work,” said Valery Khomyakov, Director of DTEK Burshtynska TPP.

Both in the regional hospitals and in this one, particularly, employees of Burshtyn TPP and their families are entitled to a number of services. Therefore, such assistance to the region is part of our social responsibility.

“This is really important for us, because social service is our component, due to which we can cover more needs, whereas annual budget resources are not always enough. Thank you for such cooperation, for the company’s commitment to our institution and for these 50 mattresses donated. We hope that there shall be no resuscitation, but we are ready to accept patients on the new beds, with new mattresses and new equipment. People here should not only be treated effectively, but also have a healthy sleep. You are, indeed, a socially-minded business and you always respond to all requests in a timely manner,” says Mykola Stovban, the Head of Ivano-Frankivsk regional clinical infectious diseases hospital.

In 2020, DTEK and Rinat Akhmetov Foundation have already provided more than 13,000 rapid tests for diagnosing coronavirus, 12,000 protective suits for medical workers and 21 artificial lung ventilators for the needs of Ivano-Frankivsk region hospitals within the framework of the “Fighting COVID-19 in Ukraine” project. We are certain that only joint efforts of the community, business and government can help our country overcome all the difficulties it has faced.
