In H1 2025, DTEK Energy has already invested around UAH 4 billion in the repair and recovery of thermal power plants damaged by massive attacks. This is more than in the whole of 2024.
The repair campaign continues unabated. A significant amount of work has already been completed, but there is still a lot to do, both this year and next. Every day is a new challenge.
The repair campaign continues without interruption. A significant amount of work has already been completed, but there is still much to be done this year and next. Every day brings new challenges and is another step toward ensuring that Ukrainian homes remain heated and lighted.
“Our power engineers are restoring not only equipment, but also confidence in the continued reliable operation of thermal power generation and the energy system as a whole. Electricity is the backbone of everything, and we are doing everything possible to ensure that there is enough of it even in the most challenging times,” said Oleksandr Fomenko, CEO of DTEK Energy.

Over the past year, the company has already allocated UAH 3.6 billion for the recovery of TPPs and UAH 7.5 billion to support Ukrainian coal mining.
These are systemic investments in the reliability of thermal power generation and the resilience of Ukraine's energy system.
