NOTICE OF FORCE MAJEURE
DEAR PARTNERS AND CONTRACTORS! We would like to inform you about the occurrence of force majeure events caused by the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, which, in turn, became the basis to introduce martial law on the territory of Ukraine from 05:30 a.m. on 24 February 2022 for a period of 30 days, in accordance with the Decree of the President of Ukraine dated 24 February 2022 No. 64/2022 ‘On the introduction of martial law in Ukraine’.
Our company is doing its utmost to ensure the stable and continuous operation of Ukraine's energy system under martial law. At the same time, please note that military operations on the territory of Ukraine objectively impede and may lead to a temporary failure to fulfil obligations under the existing contracts of our company during the period of these events. In the event that the Company is unable to fulfil some of its obligations, we kindly ask for your understanding. In turn, the Company will make every effort to fulfil them as soon as possible.
Furthermore, we would like to inform you that the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry by its letter of 28 February 2022 No. 2024/02.0-7.1 (available at https://ucci.org.ua/uploads/files/621cba543cda9382669631.pdf ) confirmed and certified the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and the imposition of martial law in accordance with the Decree of the President of Ukraine dated 24 February 2022 No. 64/2022 ‘On the Introduction of Martial Law in Ukraine’ as force majeure.
