Tatiana Overina was born in Ulan-Ude (Russia) on 26 June 1970.
She has two diplomas: in 1993, she graduated from Saint Petersburg State University majoring in System Programming, and in 1996, she obtained a diploma in Psychology from Moscow State Pedagogical University. Later, she attended a course in Municipal Management at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration and took part in specialized programmes at the Yale School of Management, Durham University Business School, and New York University.
In 1993, she started her career as a specialist at the social psychology unit of Bank Menatep (Russia). In 1996-2005, she worked for Yukos Oil Company, where she was in charge of regional and information policy and social corporate responsibility initiatives in 26 regions of the company’s operations. In 2005, she was invited to join EastOne Group (Interpipe) as the PR Director of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation. In 2008-2010, she was responsible for development of the Post-Crisis World Institute Foundation, an analytical centre. Later, Ms Overina worked as a GR and PR consultant of Kesarev Consulting.
In May 2012, Tatiana Overina joined DTEK’s team as the Deputy Director for Regional Policy. In September 2014, she headed this area at DTEK Energy.
